Housekeeping department is the backbone of the Hotel. Every guest service routed through this department makes a lasting impression on the guest. A lot of upgrades and innovations have taken place leading to better guest experience to a new level.

Well known brands have integrated the modern technology into their day to day operations to provide defect free and efficient services to the guest. Few of the notable changes are mentioned below:

Housekeeping department have introduced mobile apps into their system, upgraded their existing programme, it is integrated to Hotel PMS software to update itself to the needs and requirements of the guest.Every guest information is fed into the system which inturn is accessible to housekeepers to log into PMS through their mobiles.Whether the room is to be serviced, special turndown requirement,clearing departure rooms or any specific guest needs, will be successfully completed in given time schedule without being routed through the control desk. Every Lost &Found call, minibar bill, laundry requirement initiated by guest is now processed through mobile apps leading to fewer complaints and high degree of accuracy saving time, energy and effort.

Another milestone achieved by housekeeping department is using advanced cleaning equipment for maintaining high degree of cleanliness and efficiency. High pressure scrubbers,marble rollers,floor bloom to name a few are the equipment's operated by the department to ensure every nook and corner of the hotel is taken care and providing spotlessly clean surrounding.These modernized equipment are less labour intensive and high performance.

A well stocked and fully organised housekeeping cart is the key for servicing guest rooms efficiently and on timely basis. Housekeeping cart have undergone a lot of upgrade and modification based on the needs of housekeeping staff are being made from fibre making it light weight, user friendly and easy to access all guest floor areas.

All cleaning material used in the hotels are non-hazardous and completely biodegradable, making it user friendly and overall highly effective over wide range of various surfaces. This also includes pest control chemicals made from natural sources effective over wide range of pests,safe for human environment.

Hotels are meticulously following “Green Card” programme wherein all guests are actively participating in having room linen including bathrobebeing laundered on alternate days.
